First, there was wrestling, ultimate fighting, and martial arts, with humans against humans in death defying tournaments. The future is here with life size fighting robots. Twelve teams come from all lifestyles. They want to be the first winners in this sport of machine against machine. The prize is $100,000.00 and title of the first ever championship of the Robot Combat League.These giant mechanical marvels controlled by their human counter parts, will fight until the death of the machine. Each machine has its own unique name.

There are two on a team, the robot tech, and the robot jockeys, and then paired up with their machines built by Marc Setrakian. These machines are massive, powerful, and dangerous. Most are seven feet or taller, made of steel, wires, and hydraulic fluid (their lifeblood).Above the arena where the humans control the machines, one sits in a computer chair that controls forward and backward motion, the other human wears mechanical arms to do the actual fighting. Before the tournament starts, each team goes into one day training to get the feel of the machines. Watch the machines in the arena fighting until one breaks, each control jockey trying to maneuver to get the upper hand.This is the new tournament of the future, that we humans are finally a part of and not just in movies. Real, life size robots, competing against one another, vying for the prize, the humans are in control of these machines, vying for the prize.
